Berks Jazz Fest Featured in
Berks Jazz Fest is an annual music event bringing world-renowned musicians to Reading, Pennsylvania. Dozens of concerts, spanning various genres of jazz, bluegrass, blues, funk, soul, and R&B, take place at various venues throughout the Greater Reading area, like WCR Center for Arts and Miller Center for Arts. In addition to major concerts, the festival features many free live music events in local nightclubs and restaurants. Additionally, Berks Jazz Fest features the Art of Jazz, a juried art exhibit with local artists' works.
The program of Berks Jazz Fest includes over 130 free and ticketed concerts as well as about 100 performers during 10 days in spring. Past lineups included Keiko Matsui, Peter White, Eric Marienthal, Braun, Brian Bromberg, Mitch Forman, Lionel Dordew, Mindi Abair, Larry Braggs, Randy Brecker, Vincent Ingala & The Berks HornsBrian Culbertson, Chris Botti, Rick Braun & Richard Elliot, Boney James, and Gerald Albright.
Berks Jazz Fest boasts a history of over 30 years, showcasing the best jazz performers from all over the world and attracting jazz enthusiasts from the Northeast United States. Every year, the festival draws about 30,000 attendees.
